Sonia Recchia, Photographer

I am a talented and innovative photography professional with a strong creative flair, visual skills an eye for detail and a passion for photography. I am familiar with multiple photographic formats, and am familiar with both film and digital. My approach is an editorial style- spontaneous and real. I am constantly after the candid moments that capture emotions and expressions that last a lifetime.

I am a photographer with a strong background in both photography and business in general. I am knowledgeable in the areas of fashion and style, and can readily conceptualize new and exciting ideas as needed. As a freelance photographer I have completed assignments in different types of special events, portraiture, and commercial photography. I am able to work with clients to determine needs and requirements, and to provide the highest quality work at all times.

I have been practicing photography (both professionally and personally) for over 15 years and have worked internationally. My experience’s include photographing celebrities, politicians, covers for music artists, premiers, model head shots and portfolios, as well as, proms, weddings, engagements, confirmations, baptisms, and family portraits. I have an excellent grasp of my photography craft.

My artistic photographic style captures the world surrounding, showing its beauty, through the interaction of people and their environment. Photography has always played an important and deep role in my life, but in the last few years I have absorbed myself into the world of professional imaging, both as a career and a personal passion. My skill as a photographer speaks for itself- photography is not just a job, it is a passion. It is my nature to interact with people and inspire comfort and fun, which makes me a great choice for your next photographic project.
